This is just a quick review. Bought this camera on a whim (already own the legendary 1Ds, and 1Ds Mark III) for a mere $200. Compared with the original 1Ds, this camera is MUCH faster and writing to the dual memory card slots (one being CF, the other being SD), considerably higher resolution (11mp vs 16.7mp), can be shot at lower light sensitivities, and uses a vaguely more modern Canon menu The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II is a beautiful lens, I would love to own it if it weren't $2000. I shoot indoor/outdoor fashion photography and am looking for an affordable go-to lens for my FF 1DS mark iii. My budget is about $700.
