It is not the KDE team because opensuse at example splits akonadi in a runtime, lib and devel package. Without any kdepim package you can uninstall the akonadi runtime and therefore you don't have anymore of this /usr/bin/akonadi* apps. I do the same with the original akonadi package from archlinux by removing the files:
Re: [SOLVED]KDE Plasma - Dark Theme(breeze) broken. One temporary solution I found is to select any other white theme, remove the dark theme, reinstall and apply it again. This atleast fixed the layout of BreezeAlphaBlack for me but clicking on the "Apply Colors" in the plasmoid breaks the theme once again.

Open the .config folder and take a look at the various folders. This is where most programs, including the KDE ones, store their settings. Delete/rename the ones you think you messed up, log out and log in again. Do not delete the settings of programs that you dont want to reset to defaults. Apologies if this is redundant, but I wanted to let you guys know that I made some improvements to that pixel art wallpaper I made, and I think it looks considerably better. Took the plunge, uninstalled Windows 11, and switched to Mint. Loving it so far! KDE 5.27.5 is now in the future stable bookworm respos.
