My brother got a KTM 690 SMC R 2014 after selling his SMC 2010. We frequently ride together and sometimes swap bikes. My DR is a 96 with improved shock and a Husaberg front-end (WP48). In terms of suspension I feel well-equipped, though generally on the softer side (to my liking). Power-wise? Well, the DR is up to par up to approx. 5.000 rpm.
